What Is HEIC?
HEIC is Apple's default image format on iPhones and iPads. It uses advanced compression to store high-quality images at half the file size of JPEG. While excellent for storage, HEIC is not universally supported. Many platforms, software applications, and printing services cannot open HEIC files.
Why Convert HEIC to PDF
Converting HEIC images to PDF solves compatibility issues. PDF is universally supported across all operating systems and devices. PDFs can be emailed, printed, and archived without the recipient needing special software to view HEIC files.
Conversion Process
Our HEIC to PDF converter reads the HEIC image data, decodes it, and embeds it into a PDF page. The full resolution and color depth of the original HEIC image are preserved. Multiple HEIC images can be combined into a single multi-page PDF.
Best Practices
Transfer HEIC images from your iPhone or iPad to your computer before converting. Use the original, unedited HEIC files for the highest quality output. Consider whether you need one PDF with all images or separate PDFs for different purposes.
