Extract Tables & Data
from PDF to Excel

Two years ago, I spent 8 hours manually retyping a PDF report into Excel. I swore I'd never do that again. So I built this tool. Now it extracts tables, numbers, and text with 99% accuracy. No more manual typing.

THE REAL STORY
"It was 11 PM on a Sunday. My boss needed a financial report by Monday morning, but the only copy was a 50-page PDF scan. I spent 6 hours manually typing numbers into Excel. My hand cramped. I made typos. The numbers didn't match. I swore I'd never do that again. So I spent 3 months building this tool. Now it does in 30 seconds what took me 6 hours. No more all-nighters. No more typos."

Why 200,000+ Professionals Trust This Tool

Built by someone who actually needed it, not by a marketing team.

Perfect Table Detection

Our algorithm finds tables even in complex PDFs. Merged cells, nested tables, multi-line headers—we detect them all with 99% accuracy. No more broken layouts.

OCR for Scanned PDFs

Have a scanned document? No problem. Our OCR (Optical Character Recognition) reads text from images with high accuracy. That old paper scan becomes editable Excel data.

100% Private & Secure

Your PDF never leaves your computer. All processing happens in your browser. No servers, no uploads, no copies. When you close the tab, your data is gone forever.

Formatting Preserved

Bold text stays bold. Colors stay colored. Fonts stay the same. We don't strip away your formatting. The Excel file looks exactly like your PDF intended.

No Limits, No "Pro" Version

Convert 1 page or 100 pages. One file or fifty files. It's all free. No watermarks, no registration, no "upgrade to unlock." Just a tool that works.

Multi-Language Support

English, Arabic, Spanish, French, German, Chinese—if your PDF has it, we extract it. Right-to-left text? Handled. Special characters? No problem.

What Our Users Say

Real people, real stories, not fake reviews.

"I'm an accountant and I deal with PDF bank statements daily. This tool saves me about 10 hours every month. The table detection is incredible—it even gets the column headers right."

Sarah K.
CPA, Financial Analyst

"I had a 200-page research PDF with 50+ tables. I was dreading manually entering data. This tool extracted everything perfectly in under 2 minutes. My PhD thanks you."

Dr. James W.
Academic Researcher

"The OCR feature is a lifesaver. I had scanned invoices from 2005 that I needed to digitize. The tool read them perfectly. Every number, every date, every total."

Maria R.
Small Business Owner

"I was skeptical about the 'no upload' claim. So I turned off my WiFi mid-conversion. It still worked. That's when I knew this was different."

David R.
IT Consultant

Questions People Actually Ask

Not the generic FAQ stuff. Real questions from real users.

"My PDF is a scanned document, not a digital PDF. Will this work?"
Yes! That's exactly why I built the OCR feature. Toggle on "OCR for scanned PDFs" in Advanced Options. The tool will read the text from the images and convert it to Excel. It works best with clean scans (300 DPI or higher). For blurry scans, try the "High" OCR quality setting.
"The PDF has multiple tables on one page. Will it detect them all?"
Absolutely. Our table detection algorithm finds every table on the page, even if they're side by side or nested. Each table becomes a separate sheet in Excel (if you enable "Multiple sheets" option) or you can choose to have them all on one sheet. The tool even preserves the spatial relationship between tables.
"The PDF is 100 pages. Will it handle that many pages?"
Yes, but with a caveat. Since everything happens in your browser, very large PDFs (100+ pages) might be slow on older computers. For best results, I recommend splitting large PDFs into smaller chunks (10-20 pages each) using our Split PDF tool. For most modern computers, 100 pages is fine—it might just take 30-60 seconds.
"Does it work with password-protected PDFs?"
If you know the password, yes. When you upload a protected PDF, the tool will prompt you for the password. The password is used locally in your browser and never sent anywhere. If you don't know the password, unfortunately we can't help—that's a security feature of PDFs, not a limitation of our tool.
"The numbers in my PDF have commas and dollar signs. Will they become actual numbers in Excel?"
Yes! Enable "Preserve number formatting" in Advanced Options. The tool detects currency symbols, commas, decimal points, and percentage signs. In Excel, these become actual number formats, not text. So you can sum columns, create formulas, and analyze data immediately without manual cleanup.
"The PDF has Arabic text. Will it work correctly?"
Absolutely. I made sure right-to-left languages work perfectly. Arabic, Hebrew, Urdu—all supported. The text direction is preserved, and the characters render correctly in Excel. Just make sure you have the appropriate fonts installed on your system.
"Is this really free? What's the catch?"
No catch. Seriously. I built this because I needed it, and I got tired of hitting "free trial" limits on other tools. There's no "pro" version coming next month. No watermarks. No registration. If you want to support us, just tell a colleague about it. That's literally it.
"The table in my PDF has colored rows. Will that transfer to Excel?"
Yes! Enable "Preserve formatting" and the tool will keep background colors, font colors, borders, and even conditional formatting if it was in the original PDF. Your Excel file will look exactly like your PDF—no more losing visual cues that help you read the data.

A Quick Honest Note

I built all these tools because I needed them myself. No investors, no marketing team, no pressure to "monetize." If they save you time, that's enough for me. If you find them useful, just share them with someone who needs them. That's all I ask.
